The Environmental Protection Agency keeps track of facilities that release pollution into the environment.Using data provided by the EPA, the following map shows the locations of polluting facilites in the Hamilton County area and also provides links to the EPA documents that describe each site in greater detail. Top Ten Polluters
Factories often release pollution into the air and environment around them. Pollution is harmful to everyone, but it is especially detrimental to the health of children. Inspired by the closing of a local school due to pollution in the community, ECO set about mapping the locations of ten largest polluters in Hamilton County and their proximity to schools and parks.
